The new 495 Express Lanes extension opening has been delayed due to weather. The extension was originally set to open on Nov. 22. Due to rain, the lanes will now open on Sunday morning, on Nov. 23.

A Washington, D.C. holiday favorite returns tonight. The Smithsonian National zoolights officially start at 5pm and it’s bigger than brighter than before.Visitors can enjoy the winter themed maze and more than 1 million environmentally friendly LED lights. This year’s displays includes more the 100 lanterns depicting ocean rainforest and polar habitats. Zoolights costs $9 and runs through Jan. 3.
