Broadcast Stagehand (Regular Full-Time)

Fox 5 TV in Washington DC has a job opening for a full-time stagehand. This role works in conjunction with the engineering management team to oversee behind-the-scenes projects for the news broadcasts and studios. Our stagehands are responsible for handling property and scenery used for live television. This includes the maintenance, repair, placement and operation of studio scenes, structures, and lighting. Must be competent in the use of hand tools and power tools. Must be comfortable with computers, email and training on new systems. Will work in a fast-paced environment. May have to travel between locations and may be required to deliver and pickup materials offsite as needed. HS Diploma (or equivalent) required. 2-4 year college/technical degree preferred.
