Adam Bowles
Hello everyone! My name is Adam Bowles and I am a part-time meteorologist here at FOX 5. I recently moved to the DMV to do Public Affairs for the Navy and the Department of Defense.
Before this, I spent two years doing Public Affairs at Edwards Air Force Base, California telling the stories of our Airmen and the historic flight test mission. Now, you may be wondering where does weather come in with all of this…
I was actually a TV meteorologist and a journalist for about 7 years before I transitioned to Public Affairs with stints in Bakersfield, CA, New Orleans, LA and Little Rock, AR. I have my Bachelors degree in meteorology from Mississippi State University.
After a break from TV, I got that weather itch I needed to scratch again. I am honored to join the FOX 5 family to scratch that itch to help people plan their day and also support the Department of Defense as well. Best of both worlds!
While I’m not on TV or working, I love to have adventures and explore this incredible area. I love to travel and find places to scuba dive as a certified scuba diver. I also sing as well so you may see me in a musical or a theater out there in the future!
Be sure to follow me on social media @adambowlestv to check out my adventures or to send weather pics my way!
