DC council member introduces reparations bill

A D.C. council member introduced a new bill Thursday that would require the District to pay reparations to people whose ancestors were enslaved. Councilmember Kenyan McDuffie's bill would establish a nine-member task force to study and develop reparations proposals for African-Americans in the District.
