We're waking up to some patchy fog under partly sunny skies Tuesday morning.

Cloudy skies, patchy drizzle and chilly temperatures are expected across parts of the D.C. region Monday morning. Expect some clearing during the early afternoon hours before clouds and showers return into the evening.

It's been quite a winter-like week and this morning we're right back in the chill with temperatures ranging from the low to mid-20s to 32 degrees. As we work through the afternoon you may be able to shed a layer or two as we expect to climb into the low-50s which will feel much better than previous days this week. There could be more clouds and some passing showers south and east of D.C. Friday but most of the region stays dry.

Grab the winter coat and gloves as it's another bone-chilling morning for mid-November with temperatures once again ranging from 19-27 degrees early on this Thursday!

Despite plenty of sunshine Wednesday, the arctic airmass that moved in on Tuesday keeps that 'dead of winter' preview alive.

Grab the rain gear, layers of clothes, warm coat, and your hat and gloves before you head out today! All of it will be put to good use before Tuesday is over!
