Prince George’s County police officer pleads guilty to soliciting a prostitute
WASHINGTON (FOX 5 DC) - A Prince George’s County police officer pleaded guilty on Wednesday to soliciting sex from a transgender prostitute.
Ian Lucas had been placed on leave since last year when the allegations surfaced.
Lucas and at least one other officer – a D.C. police officer – have been the targets of investigations after accusations emerged that they were abusing their authority to coerce the prostitutes into sexual acts in exchange for not arresting them.
In November 2018, multiple transgender prostitutes alleged that a D.C. police officer and a Prince George's County officer used their positions in law enforcement to coerce them for sex while they were working on the streets of Northeast D.C.
Prince George’s County police officer expected to plead guilty in transgender prostitute case
A Prince George's County police officer is expected in DC Superior Court Wednesday morning for an arraignment nearly a year after being accused of using his influence as an officer to coerce transgender prostitutes to perform sex acts.
Lawyers for the women say the U.S. Attorney's Office granted them immunity in order to provide details of their encounters with the officers.
FOX 5 obtained video and images which show sexual encounters inside what appears to be a Prince George's County police cruiser. In one video, a man can be heard replying "a little" after being asked if he'd been drinking.
We were also provided an image of a man police sources say is a veteran D.C. police lieutenant wearing what appears to be a D.C. Police polo. Naked below the waist, the lieutenant is allegedly in the midst of a sexual encounter with one of the prostitutes.

Court documents show Lucas will agree to a plea deal with the government and there will also be a deferred sentencing agreement.
PGPD tells FOX 5 that Lucas remains suspended with pay.
As for the D.C. police officer — he has not been charged in the case but remains in an adminstrative role on non- contact.
