FOX 5 UNFILTERED: Children's rights advocate, DC seniors discuss school walk out
WASHINGTON - On Tuesday evening FOX 5 went 'unfiltered' and took a closer look at the protests coast to coast following the election.
The demonstrations started with voters upset with the outcome, but now even students who aren't even old enough to vote are making their voices heard.
There have been student walkouts in California, in Montgomery county and then on Tuesday students from several D.C. schools walked out of class, marching to the trump hotel, the white house, and back.
While many are happy the students are getting involved, there are those who are raising questions about student safety and adult leadership.
Children's rights advocate David Grogan and Wilson high school seniors Amilcar Hudson and Cameron Boucher-Khan joined FOX 5 to help put everything in perspective.
