Cheers to National Beer Day!

Lift up you stein, or can, or bottle - it's National Beer Day!

Observed in the United States every April 7th, National Beer Day celebrates the repeal of Prohibition in 1933.

Here at FOX 5, we're celebrating just how well the beer business is doing.

Sean Wilson, founder of Fullsteam Brewery, visited to talk about how D.C. stacks up in the craft brewery game.

FOX 5's Steve Chenevey documented some evidence of fans celebrating National Beer Day a day early. Steve was at the Washington Nationals home opener on April 6th when he snapped a pic of this trashcan overflowing with beer cans and cups.

Well, come to think of it, they were probably celebrating another beer holiday - New Beer's Eve!
