Arlington's Washington-Lee High School could be renamed for Loving couple
ARLINGTON, Va. (FOX 5 DC) - A northern Virginia high school could have a new name by the end of the day.
Washington Lee High School in Arlington is currently named for Confederate General Robert E. Lee. A school board renaming committee recommended the name be changed to Washington-Loving in honor of Mildred and Richard Loving.

The Loving couple was from Virginia and is responsible for the state ending its law banning inter-racial marriage.
The final vote to change the school's name set for today.
