Jheanelle Wilkins announced an official partnership with the Embassy of Jamaica to designate the Silver Spring Civic Building (1 Veterans Plaza, Silver Spring) and Montgomery College Bioscience Education Center (20200 Observation Drive, Germantown, MD) as regional donation hubs to support recovery efforts following the devastation of Hurricane Melissa. Both the Councilmember and legislator hail from Jamaica and represent Montgomery County.
