Stafford County Sheriff's Office investigating suspicious death

SOUTH STAFFORD, Va. (FOX 5 DC) - The Stafford County Sheriff's Office is investigating what they described as a "suspicious death" on River Road in Saturday.

The Sheriff's Office has not identified the body, nor have they indicated how the body was found in South Stafford.

They also have not said whether they suspect any criminal activity in connection with the death.

According to the Sheriff's Office, they will release additional details.

They are asking anyone who may have noticed suspicious vehicle in the area around River Road and Route 3 to call them at (540) 658-4450.
