Smoke at Woodley Park metro station

Fire crews were called to the Woodley Park Metro station in northwest D.C. after smoke was reported coming from a train. Metro says the train had a mechanical problem , and has been taken out of service.

Passengers tell FOX 5 the train was sitting in the station for about 10 minutes. They describe what they say was an explosion, and say they were evacuated from the train, which was headed downtown.
