Prince George's County man says snake tripped him during late-night bathroom run

OXON HILL, Md. - Be careful getting up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, as one man in Prince George's County can attest, you could trip over a snake!

A man tells FOX 5 he awoke at 3:45 a.m. to use the bathroom when he tripped on something at his apartment in Oxon Hill, Maryland.

The man said he couldn't see what he tripped over until he turned on the light and realized it was a long black snake that had slithered into his apartment.

He called the police and his wife reports that officials helped push the snake off of the balcony of their apartment.
