Man critically injured, 3 firefighters transported after Prince George’s County house fire

PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. - A man was taken to the hospital in critical condition and three firefighters were transported for evaluation after a house fire in Prince George’s County.

The fire broke out just after 8 a.m. on Winding Brook Court in Lake Arbor. Firefighters said the man was trapped when they arrived and pulled him from the home.

What we know:

The three firefighters were taken to a hospital for evaluation, officials said. Four residents were displaced and are being assisted by the Prince George’s County Office of Emergency Management.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
