Bieber is fined in Canadian paparazzi case

STRATFORD, Ont. (AP) -- Justin Bieber has pleaded guilty to assault and careless driving in an altercation with paparazzi last August near his hometown of Stratford, Ontario.

His lawyer says Bieber will pay a fine of $750 Canadian.

Bieber was arrested after a collision between a minivan and an ATV in a rural area.

Bieber's defense maintained he had been on a peaceful retreat with Selena Gomez when the paparazzi disrupted it.
