BOLIVAR, W.Va. - A 3.0 magnitude earthquake struck just 45 miles outside Washington on Sunday afternoon.
The United States Geological Survey reported that the quake began around 4 kilometers from Bolivar, West Virginia.
Around 80 people reported feeling the seismic event, which occurred shortly after 2 p.m.
Bolivar is located just under 25 miles from Leesburg, Virginia and around 64 miles from Washington.
