November starts chilly with temps in the 50s; dry, cool weekend for Nationals World Series Parade
WASHINGTON - What a week this has been! Between the Nationals World Series trophy and that scary Halloween squall line of severe storms, I'll bet many of you are ready to chill.
That's exactly what we are doing on this first day of November as temperatures will drop dramatically into the 50s with gusty breezes that will subside through the afternoon. It will feel quite chilly, but it's also a bright sun-filled end to the work week.
The weekend stays dry with chilly mornings in the 30s and highs in the 50s. Weather looks fine for the Nationals Parade on Saturday at 2 p.m. with temperatures in the mid-50s.
Reminder: set your clocks back one hour before bed on Saturday night as Daylight Saving Time ends. I think we can all use that extra hour of sleep after this historic week!
