Duane Simpkins tapped as American University men's basketball coach

American University has a new men's basketball coach. The school hired former George Mason assistant coach Duane Simpkins. He was introduced to the public as the new coach Wednesday. Simpkins starred as a player at Dematha High School and later at the University of Maryland. American University's athletic director says Simpkins will be a changemaker for the school.
