Michael Annett's No. 46 NASCAR stock car destroyed in fire

HScott Motorsports lost two NASCAR stock cars Thursday after a fire started in their car-carrying trailer. The team was transporting the Number 46 cars to Texas Motor Speedway in Dallas when the fire happened outside Tyler, Texas.

Michael Annett, who competes full-time in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, is listed as the driver of the car. A spare vehicle from the organizations headquarters in the Carolinas is already enroute. The company operates out of Spartanburg and Mooresville.

The organization said no one was injured but they lost both cars and track equipment in the fire. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
