Woman faces charges after allegedly performing yoga poses on Metro tracks

WASHINGTON - A woman who caught the attention of many for her risky yoga poses is being accused of trespassing after security cameras allegedly caught her on the rail tracks of a Metro station.

Holly Bentley, of Virginia, faces criminal trespassing charges after surveillance images allegedly captured her and her photographer on the rails at West Falls Church station in December of last year.

Video of the incident, released by Metro, shows Bentley and her photographer walking onto the station platform and then lowering themselves onto the tracks. Bentley performs several poses while the photographer takes her picture. At one point, she appears to stumble, but regains her balance and safely exits the track area.

A yoga enthusiast, Bentley has posted many photos of herself online showing her in different poses around the D.C. area and in other locations.

She was arrested earlier this week and is due to appear in court next month.
