Washington Nationals get ready for spring training

A sign that baseball is on the way – the Washington Nationals are heading to spring training in Florida.

The team was packing up gear and loading equipment Monday.

The team will head to Space Coast stadium for their spring games.

Pitchers and catcher will report on February 19th with the full squad reporting on the 24th.

The season begins for the Nationals on April 6 when they take on the Mets at home.
