The workweek starts off nice in the D.C. region with temperatures in the upper 80s, low humidity and plenty of sunshine – but the heat, humidity, and chances for storms are on the way back!

FOX 5's Mike Thomas says after a warm, dry and pleasant Monday the 90s return along with humidity and the chance for pop-up storms each day of the week and through the weekend.

Mike says the next three weeks are typically the hottest three weeks of the year for the D.C. region. He says we'll also have to keep an eye on the 4th of July for the chance of scattered storms in the evening hours.
