A decade of viral videos and music!

On Thursday, YouTube celebrated 10 years.

It is difficult for some people to remember life before the video-sharing website.

The site was registered in February of 2005 but the first video wasn't posted until April 23rd, 2005.

That first video was entitled "Me At The Zoo." The 18-second clip shows YouTube co-founder Jawed Karim gave his insight into the lives of elephants at the San Diego Zoo.

The most watched video of all time, Psy's "Gangnam Style." The 2012 YouTube post helped the song become a phenomenon across the world. It has gotten more than 2.3 billion clicks and counting!

Justin Bieber's tune "Baby" is 2nd all-time with more than 1.1 billion clicks.

Katy Perry has the 3rd and 4th most watched videos and lmfao is 5th.

A video dubbed "Charlie Bit My Finger---Again" was uploaded in 2007 and it is the most watched non-music video on the website with more than 816 million hits.

Google bought YouTube in 2006 for $1.65 billion. It attracts more than one billion users a month.
