FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. (FOX 5 DC) - When a Northern Virginia man didn't return home from an evening hike his family called police who immediately sent out their helicopter unit Fairfax 1.

On Thursday, FOX 5's Tisha Lewis had an inside look at the chopper - and the rescue itself.
