The former C.P. Crane Power Station in Bowleys Quarters, Maryland was imploded Friday. The local landmark has stood since 1961.
BOWLEYS QUARTERS, Md. - The former C.P. Crane Power Station in Bowleys Quarters, Maryland was brought down in an implosion Friday morning.
The local landmark had stood since on 150 acres since 1961 off of Carroll Island Road in Baltimore County.
The plant closed since 2018. While operational it had been equipped with coal, steam and oil generators.
