Tractor trailer involved in serious crash with another car in Fairfax County

FAIRFAX STATION, Va. - A serious crash involving a tractor trailer and another vehicle is causing major traffic delays in Fairfax County.

The accident happened on Ox Road (Route 123) near Hampton Road at around 3:03 p.m. Friday, according to police.

Video from SkyFox over the scene shows the tractor trailer in an apparent collision with a light-colored vehicle, leading to the tractor trailer to travel through the grassy median into the opposing direction of the roadway before coming to a stop.

Police say injuries suffered in the crash appear to be non-life-threatening.

Ox Road was temporarily shut down in both directions as authorities attempted to remove the vehicles from the roadway.
