A new study by the Center for Environmental Health says cadmium - a metal linked to cancer and reproductive harm - has been found in jewelry sold at a number of popular chains.

According to Fox News, the toxic metal was identified in products sold at Ross, Nordstrom Rack, and Papaya.

More than 30 jewelry items purchased during the study were 40 percent cadmium.
