Who is performing at the Super Bowl?
What they're saying:
Grammy-winner Jon Batiste will be singing the National Anthem and succeed country legend Reba McEntire, who performed last year.
The half-time performance will be headlined by Grammy and Pulitzer Prize winner Kendrick Lamar. The rap giant recently won five Grammys, one being song of the year. He’ll be joined by Grammy-winning artist SZA, and it’s possible we’ll see a few other surprises.
The broadcast will feature performances from Louisiana natives Lauren Daigle and Trombone Shorty (who'll perform "America the Beautiful") and New Orleans R&B star Ledisi (performing "Lift Every Voice and Sing"). Both performances will happen before kick-off.
