Emergency crews say snow delayed their response to a house fire in Fort Belvoir, Virginia.

The fire happened around 8:30 a.m. at a home on the 7800 block of Roundabout Way in Fairfax County. The fire appears to have burned through the roof of the house.

It is unclear if anyone was inside of the house at the time of the fire or if there are any injuries.

At this time, it is unknown what started the blaze.

Firefighters say they had to clear snow from the hydrant near the house before they could establish a water supply.
