A new unsealed search warrant in the murder investigation of a wealthy D.C. family and their housekeeper is detailing how the victims were found inside their home.

The warrant was issued on May 14 to search the Northwest D.C. home of Savvas and Amy Savopoulos.

The couple was found dead inside their burning home on Woodland Drive along with their 10-year-old son and housekeeper.

According to the court documents, Savvas Savopoulos was found in an upper level bedroom with apparent trauma to the rear of his head. His wife, Amy, was also in the same room with lacerations to her throat and head.

The housekeeper, Veralicia Figueroa, was also found with them and received CPR before being taken to the hospital where she would later succumb to her injuries.

A baseball bat with what appeared to be blood on it was found in the bedroom as well, according to the search warrant.

The family's 10-year-old son, Philip, was located in another second-floor bedroom suffering from severe fire damage to his body. It is believed that the fire was ignited in this room.

Daron Wint is the only suspect charged in this case so far. Police believe he is connected to the crime after investigators found DNA linking him to a partially eaten pizza crust that was delivered to the Savopoulos' home on May 13. Investigators also believe more than one person assisted in the killings.

Other search warrants released last week revealed a shoe or boot print was found by investigators on an exterior French-style door of the Savopoulos' home. The door's lock was broken and suggested there was forced entry into the house.

Another court document detailed the search of a vehicle belonging to Jordan Wallace, a personal assistant to Savvas Savopoulos. Wallace delivered $40,000 in cash to the Savopoulos' home at the request of Savvas Savopoulos on the day the victims were found dead. Wallace's car was parked about a block away from the home.
