A quadruple‑amputee professional cornhole player accused of killing a friend in Maryland is scheduled to appear in court Wednesday morning following his extradition from Virginia.

LA PLATA, Md. - A quadruple‑amputee professional cornhole player accused of killing a friend in Maryland is scheduled to appear in court Wednesday morning following his extradition from Virginia.

Dayton Webber, 27, is set for a bail‑bond review hearing before a Charles County judge. 

Police say Webber fatally shot 27‑year‑old Bradrick Michael Wells during an argument inside Webber’s Tesla in La Plata, then dumped the body on the roadside in Charlotte Hall before fleeing to Charlottesville, Virginia, where he was arrested.

Webber has previously gained recognition online for performing everyday tasks, including climbing a ladder, sledding and firing a handgun, despite losing all four limbs as a baby due to a bacterial infection.

Security footage captured the moments after a Charles County woman discovered Wells’ body along the road. 

According to court documents, two witnesses told police they were riding in the backseat when Webber shot Wells in the head after a heated dispute. They said Webber asked them to help remove the body, but they refused and instead flagged down officers.

Investigators believe Webber later pulled Wells from the vehicle and drove to Virginia, where authorities located him and took him into custody.

Wednesday’s hearing is scheduled for 10 a.m.
