‘Promiscuous peacock' found safe
LEESBURG, Va. (FOX 5 DC) - Loudoun County's so-called "promiscuous peacock" has been found.
FOX 5 DC's Anjali Hemphill says "Chip" was captured on Mullen Hill Road in the Lovettsville area.
The peacock escaped from his enclosure in Leesburg approximately two weeks ago.
Before escaping, "Chip" spent two months getting to know the chickens, ducks, and other peacocks living around him.
His owners believe the peacock escaped in an effort to seek out a mate.
