Police identify Virginia man arrested in Maryland road rage incident
COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Police say they have identified the man arrested Friday for a road rage incident in Prince George's County.
Maryland State Police say 41-year-old Uliyahu Ben'Arie Hayah, from Virginia, is facing charges after he pointed a gun at a female driver in a black BMW vehicle while driving his black Chevy Traverse. It happened just after 2 p.m. on Friday on I-95 near the Prince George's County and Howard County line.
The woman reported the incident to police and they were able to identify Hayah from a description of his car.
Hayah is charged with the use of a firearm in a felony, possession of an assault weapon, illegal possession of handgun in a vehicle, illegal possession of a handgun, first-degree assault, second-degree assault and reckless endangerment, accord to police.
They say he is being held at the Prince George's County Detention Center pending an appearance before a court commissioner.
