Northeast DC woman turns 100 years old
WASHINGTON - A D.C. woman reached a major milestone as she celebrated her 100th birthday on Wednesday.
Dorothy Estep is a longtime and active member of the Langston Terrance community in Northeast D.C.
Estep told us she doesn't really have a secret to living a long life, but she said, "I thank God for my time."
D.C.'s newest centenarian is a big fan of seafood so her family is taking her on a big dinner feast at her favorite restaurant - Red Lobster.
"I thank God I'm able to rise to see these days with good health and sound mind," she said.
