New Year's Eve at First Night Alexandria

ALEXANDRIA, Va. - One of the DC area's most family-friendly New Year's Eve celebrations takes place in Alexandria, and FOX 5 DC's Evan Lambert is there.

Old Town Alexandria is all decked out for the holiday and ready to ring in the new year as the city is holding its annual First Night Alexandria celebration and firework show.

There are many family-friendly throughout the day as many businesses and buildings turned into venues for local area performers while the fireworks are set to go off at midnight.
