Mother, step-mother arrested after allegedly assaulting son's bullies

A mother and stepmother were jailed after confronting students they say were bullying their 12-year-old son.

The women claim they went to school administrators but no action was taken.

The women then allegedly confronted two girls, who they say were responsible for the bullying, in the school cafeteria

The two moms were arrested and accused of assaulting the 12 and 13-year-old girls.

"The little boy was there, too. He wasn't involved in the fight, but clearly he pointed out the two teenagers that were allegedly causing him problems," said Lt. Joe Gomez of the Fresno Police.

The boy's 15-year-old sister was also arrested and faces assault charges.
