Mild temps, afternoon showers Thursday; thunderstorms likely Friday evening

It won't be a washout -- but keep the umbrella handy as scattered showers are expected Thursday afternoon and into the evening hours. FOX 5's Mike Thomas says we can expect mild temperatures with highs in the upper 70s and some sunshine before the unsettled weather moves in to the region.

The best chance for rain Thursday will come during the afternoon hours - around 1 p.m. - with showers expected to wrap up by sunset.

High temperatures around 80 degrees on Friday ahead of afternoon and evening thunderstorms. Saturday's highs dip down to 70 degrees with clouds and showers moving in during the evening hours. The wet weather stays with us most of the day on Sunday with Mother's Day looking more likely to be cool and soggy.
