Md. lawmaker charged with indecent exposure

ROCKVILLE, Md. (AP) -- A Maryland lawmaker has been charged with indecent exposure and trespassing.

The charges involve 38-year-old Democratic Del. Ariana Kelly of Montgomery County. Kelly's lawyer, Luis Simmons, said Tuesday night that Kelly will aggressively contest the charges, which he says are "quite de minimis."

Court records show Kelly was arrested in late June after a dispute when she was dropping off her children at her ex-husband's home in Bethesda.

According to a report in the Washington Post, Kelly rang the doorbell to the home several times, flashed her breasts and shook them while her ex-husband recorded the incident on his cellphone.

A trial is scheduled for Aug. 13.
