Man shot to death in Prince George's County

SPRINGDALE, Md. - Prince George's County police say they are investigating a homicide in Springdale Tuesday night.

According to police, officers responded to the 9900 block of Quiet Glen Court nearby Old Ardwick Ardmore Road for the report of a shooting at around 8:55 p.m.

Police located a man lying on the street from an apparent gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene, officials say.

Police say the shooting does not appear to be a random incident.
