Man calls 911 over bar tab

An Idaho man could face a year in jail and a $1000 fine for calling 911 after thinking a bar had overcharged him.

Police say they gave Phillip Poissonnier a ride home Monday night after he was kicked out of Club Tequila.

He then called 911 asking officers to come back to discuss his bar tab.

Poissonnier apparently called back a few times to see if officers were responding.

He called several more times – allegedly playing radio music and hanging up on them.

The last time Poissonnier called 911 he told the dispatcher that she's just like his ex-wife.

"According to the officers he had been intoxicated, so they gave him a ride home and shortly after they gave him a ride home we started receiving 911 calls from him," said Pat Knight with the Post Falls Police.
