Artist says Bill Clinton museum portrait has subtle reference to Monica Lewinsky
If you look closely, a 2006 portrait of former President Bill Clinton currently in possession by the National Portrait Gallery has subtle reference to former White House intern Monica Lewinsky. According to the artist of the portrait, he says a shadow besides Clinton is a reference to Lewinsky's infamous blue dress.

Lawmakers binge-watching "House of Cards"
The third season of the highly-acclaimed political drama was released on Netflix last Friday. While new episodes were available to view on the online streaming service, many lawmakers on Friday were in a bit of drama of their own as they voted to extend the Department of Homeland Security's funding for another week to temporarily avoid a partial shutdown. This led many politicians to weigh in about their real-life saga and the popular show.

"Sharknado 3" congressional cameos
Yes, there is going to be a third installment of the "Sharknado" series and it will take place in our nation's capital. Apparently, the makers behind the upcoming movie are reaching out to members of Congress to see if they would be interested in making a cameo in the film.

The New York Democrat recently tweeted out a picture with the "Seinfeld" co-creator and it looks like David appears to be less than thrilled in the Brooklyn reunion.
