FOX 5 volunteers help clean up Anacostia River during 21st Century Fox's Impact Week 2017

WASHINGTON - A massive cleanup effort of the Anacostia River is the next stop for FOX 5 and 21st Century Fox during Impact Week 2017.

Volunteers joined National Geographic to clean up the river while abroad kayaks.

The Anacostia River flows from Prince George's County in Maryland into Washington, D.C., where it joins with the Potomac River.

Employees across the company are volunteering their time in a variety of ways for Impact Week 2017.

Our Impact Week will conclude on Friday with a service project at the National Mall and Memorial Parks.
