21st Century Fox and FOX 5 give back to the community during Impact Week

FOX 5 and 21st Century Fox are participating in our first ever Impact Week to give back to the community.

Employees across the company are volunteering their time in a variety of ways. We kicked off our Impact Week on Monday as members of FOX 5 joined other volunteers at the Capital Area Food Bank in Northeast to help sort and stock shelves. The food bank provides help to families in need across the region.

On Tuesday, FOX 5 will join 21st Century Fox and National Geographic to help assemble materials for military care packages. Our volunteers will then meet up with the Humane Rescue Alliance on Wednesday to help make dog and cat toys for rescued animals.

On Thursday, FOX 5 will join National Geographic Explorer Clare Fiesler to clean up the Anacostia River from kayaks. Our Impact Week will conclude on Friday with a service project at the National Mall and Memorial Parks.

If you join us during out activities, be sure to post to social media using #21CFimpactweek.
