Fairfax County police trace high school alarms to snake
ALEXANDRIA, Va. - Fairfax County police were in for a surprise when they tried to determine what was setting off motion alarms at a local high school on Monday.
Police said on Thursday that they tracked the problem at Hayfield High School back to a snake that had escaped a biology classroom.
An animal protection officer apprehended the slithering suspect.
