Employee says suspect bit her on behind during sexual assault inside Manassas lingerie boutique

Prince William County police are looking for a man who sexually assaulted a female employee while she was working at a Manassas lingerie boutique.

Police said it happened Monday night at the Le Tache Couples Boutique on Portsmouth Road.

The woman who was attacked said she does not recognize the suspect, but the store's surveillance cameras were rolling. She does not want to be identified, but she does want to tell her story to put the man who did this behind bars.

"Any female should be able to work where or do whatever they want without having the fear of someone doing something to them," she said.

The suspect came into the store at around 8 p.m. He told the female employee he wanted to buy some lingerie for his wife. However, she said things quickly escalated when the man started coming on to her instead.

She said for her safety, she retreated back behind the counter where the interaction would be caught on camera.

"It really crossed the line when I started feeling uncomfortable and a little scared, so I turned around to text my boyfriend to let him know there is this really creepy guy in the store. I feel really uncomfortable and unsafe," the victim described. "When my back was turned, he came back here and that is when he bit me in the a**. Then I turned around and I pushed him. I was like, 'You need to get out of here.' So I pushed him out and he was like, 'Oh, I'm sorry, I'm sorry.' Then he came back and was on his knees and trying to pull my dress off."

She said she grabbed the phone and started calling police. That is when the man got up and took off after telling her he would be back. Ever since, she has been terrified.

"I want to make sure that he is caught because we don't know his name or anything like that," the victim said. "So to get his face out there, at least we can have more eyes to try catch him because I may not be the first person he did it to and I'm pretty sure I'm not going to be the last person."

The suspect is described as a Hispanic man with a heavy build. He is 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs around 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black and gray hoodie, light gray shorts and black and white shoes.
