Downed wires cause fire in Damascus

DAMASCUS, Md. - Downed wires caused a fire in Damascus Tuesday morning.

The incident happened around 6:15 a.m. near Woodfield Road and Moyer Road.

Emergency crews say wires caused an electrical pole to catch fire.

No one appears to have been injured.

Roads in the area are closed while crews address the situation.
