Girl struck by vehicle in northwest DC

WASHINGTON - Authorities say a girl was struck by a vehicle early Wednesday morning in northwest D.C.

District police are investigating the incident in the 2200 block of 14th St. The striking vehicle remained on scene.

Police said the child is conscious and breathing. She was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries, police said.
