Cense, the new Weight Watchers low-calorie wine, hits the shelves

Wine drinkers looking to maintain their diet will be pleased to hear news of a recent debut by Weight Watchers.

The company is unveiling a new line of diet wine called Cense. The new sauvignon blanc will become the latest low calorie wine to hit the market.

"Cense is a fresh and bright wine with aromas of lemon and lime, crisp acidity and juicy grapefruit flavors. After a dedicated commitment to trials and refinement, Cense Sauvignon Blanc has arrived!" says the company's website.

The website said Truett Hurst and Weight Watchers began working on the SmartPoints®-friendly wine in 2015. The wine is 85 calories, or 3 SmartPoints value, per 5 fl. oz. serving.

Weight Watchers is looking to expand low calorie, eventually including a line of rose.
