Boy forced to shave military haircut

A 7-year-old boy in Tennessee was sent to the principal's office for having a military-style haircut.

It happened at bobby ray memorial elementary school in McMinnville.

Adam Stinnett says he wants to go in the army. His stepbrother, Justin, is a soldier who has served in Afghanistan and Adam also has a cousin in the army.

He decided he, too, wanted a "high and tight" haircut. But school officials called the haircut a distraction.

Adam's mother says they sent Adam home with a note, saying the child's head should be shaved.

Adam says he wants his old haircut back.

His mother just wants an apology, and says she won't rest until she gets one.
