Fairfax County police say four people were injured after a shooting and fight Tuesday evening in Annandale.

Police say officers responded to the 7500 block of Davian Drive at around 5:16 p.m. for a report of a shooting. When officers arrived, they found a 19-year-old woman and 20-year-old woman shot in an altercation that happened outside of a home between people that knew each other.

A 16-year-old girl also suffered injuries during the altercation while another woman suffered a medical emergency.

All four were taken to the hospital for treatment. All of their injuries are considered non-life-threatening. The two women wounded in the shooting are in stable condition.

"I can tell you the incident took place outside," said Fairfax County Police Officer Megan Hawkins. "It did not take place inside the house. All parties are accounted for. Interviews are being conducted. Crime scene detectives are on scene and the investigation is ongoing."
